GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, November 1, 2024 — Pioneer PBS will participate in the 16th annual Give to the Max Day. Early giving begins Friday, Nov. 1, culminating in Give to the Max Day Thursday, Nov. 21. As Minnesota’s holiday of generosity, Give to the Max is an event that aims to raise funds for Minnesota non-profit organizations like Pioneer PBS.
Your tax-deductible donation to Pioneer PBS’s Give to the Max campaign helps us continue to tell your stories, highlights your region and celebrates greater Minnesota.
As a trusted and valued communicator for rural Minnesota since 1966, Pioneer PBS takes pride in our original Emmy-awarded local productions, which lift local voices and highlight the cultural heritage of our region and its residents. Thanks to your support, we are able to offer programs that showcase the stories of rural artists, tribal members, small business owners, veterans and more viewers like you.
“As always, we do what we do for you, and we know we simply cannot do it without you,” President and General Manager Shari Lamke said.
By donating to the campaign, you can support television that inspires our viewers and future generations, offers unique services for children and families and brings the world and the region’s stories to the doorsteps of our community.
Each donation made through GiveMN.org enters Pioneer PBS into drawings for additional grants from the Give to the Max Day prize pool, thanks to the generosity of the Bush Foundation. On Nov. 21, Give to the Max Day, GiveMN will award:
- $500 Early Giving Golden Tickets daily on Nov. 1-20
- $500 Golden Ticket prizes every 15 minutes on Nov. 21
- $1,000 Hourly Golden Ticket prizes hourly on Nov. 21
- $6,000 Power Hour Prizes
- A $10,000 Super-Sized Golden Ticket, drawn from all gifts made Nov. 1-21.
