GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Pioneer PBS is unveiling an update to its brand, including a refreshed logo, bold color palette, custom typeface and illustration style. The new identity will roll out throughout 2020 as the national Public Broadcasting Service celebrates its 50th anniversary. (Fun Fact: Pioneer PBS — as KWCM — went on the air in February, 1966 — four years before the national PBS system was established.)

For the past week, viewers have seen a new look and feel that spans broadcast, mobile and digital platforms. The new brand identity features a new, vibrant signature color, PBS Blue, designed to convey a sense of trust and integrity.

The fresh look will help viewers more easily identify thoughtful and thought-provoking PBS programs like Antiques Roadshow, Masterpiece and more along with local Pioneer favorites like Funtime Polka, Prairie Yard & Garden, Postcards and Prairie Sportsman.
