GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, May 14, 2026 — The 46th season of Your Legislators with host Barry Anderson and producer Matt Johnson, will return Thursday, May 21 at 8 p.m. on Pioneer PBS. Currently, Assistant Majority Leader Sen. Nick Frentz (DFL), District 18 is confirmed to appear and we’re still looking for three others to round out our table forum.

Your Legislators rebroadcasts Monday, May 25 at 11:30 a.m. following the initial air date on Pioneer PBS.

For decades, Your Legislators has provided a forum for conversations between Minnesotans and their elected officials.

As longtime host of Your Legislators, Anderson, who has hosted since 1989, has seen many changes along the way, but one thing never fails to surprise him.

“On a number of occasions, in fact I’d say it happens every year in one form or another, we’ll have a post program discussion in which legislators acknowledge that they have learned something they didn’t know before or agree to meet later to discuss some detail that came up during the program,” Anderson said. “Put another way, both during the programs and outside of the programs, there is plenty of evidence that legislators are interested in discussion, compromise and results. You don’t always see that in floor sessions in the House and the Senate.”

Viewers can submit questions by calling 1-800-726-3178, emailing yourtv@pioneer.org, or leaving a message on Facebook until a few days before the program recording on Tuesday, May 19.

“This is an opportunity for dialogue between viewers and their elected representatives. I’m grateful for the willingness of our elected representatives and senators to make themselves available for Your Legislators,” Anderson said.
