GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, May 14, 2026 — The second season of Hisserie continues its exploration of the paranormal and macabre across Minnesota and the greater Midwest Saturday, May 23 at 8 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.
The season continues with a two-part finale in which co-hosts Mickey Reed and Ryan Meyer complete a 48-hour lock-in at Malvern Manor in Iowa. During the investigation, the team pushes its limits — later describing the experience as both thrilling and terrifying — while exploring the site’s history with owner Josh Heard, testing new paranormal technology with inventor Paul Kocsis and welcoming guests from Farrar Elementary School, a location featured in a previous episode.
Reed said additional footage from the investigation did not make the broadcast and is available in an extended format.
“And then we also have a Patreon page and we post like the full investigations because we’re there for a full night. You can’t fit everything into twenty six minutes. So we, I, edit through all of our investigations uncut and then post those so people can watch them as well." said Reed, producer/videographer/host.
