Learn how to grow tomatoes on the next episode of Prairie Yard & Garden

GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Pioneer PBS’s Prairie Yard & Garden will feature tips for growing tomatoes on its upcoming episode. “How to Grow Good Tomatoes” will air on February 23 at 7:30 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.

In this episode, John Anderson from Morris shares tips for growing tomatoes with Prairie Yard & Garden Host Mary Holm. Anderson has been growing tomatoes for a long time and has developed his own methods of prepping, planting and tending to his tomatoes to produce the perfect fruit. As a retired teacher, Anderson is experienced in helping learners excel and enjoys sharing his experiences and growing tips for these delicious and nutritious staples of the summer garden.
