Postcards
Postcards is an award-winning series that captures the lives and art of local artists and relives the cultural history and cultural heritage of western Minnesota and beyond. First created in 2010, Postcards is a production of Pioneer PBS. Funding for Postcards comes from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Prairie Sportsman celebrates our love of the outdoors to hunt, fish and recreate provided by Minnesota’s vast resources of lakes, rivers, trails and grasslands. The weekly half-hour show, hosted by Bret Amundson, takes viewers on adventures around the state and features outdoor sports and recreation, environmental science and ways to restore and protect natural resources.
Prairie Yard & Garden, or PY&G for short, offers expert gardening advice from researchers, nursery professionals, educators, and backyard gardeners in the Upper Midwest who are passionate about cultivating beautiful gardens to discuss. First airing in 1984, Your Legislators is a public affairs program produced for public television stations serving the citizens of Minnesota. The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that would eliminate all federal funding for public media that's already approved by law. The Senate has until July 18 to act on this measure. Meaning there is still time to make your voice heard to urge them to vote against the bill. This funding – about $1.60 per person each year would dismantle essential services that countless communities count on.
