GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Pioneer PBS’s Prairie Yard & Garden program will feature tips on growing hydrangeas in its upcoming episode. “Growing Hydrangeas” will air on February 9 at 7:30 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.

Hydrangeas have become one of the most popular shrubs in the United States as they tend to thrive in a variety of sun and soil types. PY&G Host Mary Holm talks with horticulturist Debbie Lonnee of Minnesota-based Bailey Nurseries for information on the best varieties and growing tips for these elegant plants with an old-fashioned charm.
