Prairie Yard & Garden Season 39: Legacy of the Lakes Museum – Alexandria - Thursday, March 12

GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, March 5, 2026   On the next Prairie Yard & Garden, host Mary Holm travels to Alexandria, Minnesota, to visit the Legacy of the Lakes Museum. “Legacy of the Lakes Museum,” the seventh episode of the show’s 39th season, airs Thursday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.

The Legacy of the Lakes Museum in Alexandria houses unique watercraft such as a Heliboat, an amphibious car and, even, a motorized surfboard. Associate director Kaci Johnson takes host Mary Holm on a deep dive tour of lake life and into the water history of the region, and then Carol Swenson guides Mary through the museum's beautiful public display garden, a serene showcase spot used for special events or simply escaping the daily hustle.

Prairie Yard & Garden rebroadcasts Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Mondays at 1 p.m. following the initial air date on Pioneer PBS.
