GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, March 12, 2026   On the next Prairie Yard & Garden, host Mary Holm travels to Sauk Centre, Minnesota to explore the heartwarming and inspiring world of Camphill Village. “Camphill Village,” the eighth episode of the show’s 39th season, airs Thursday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.

Holm visits Camphill Village Minnesota, an intentional community built on the idea that “it takes a village.” Development Outreach Director Annie Welck shares how people with and without developmental disabilities live and work together on the community’s 525-acre property. Residents cultivate food in gardens and orchards and create handmade goods in the weavery, pottery studio and woodshop.

Farm Manager Tomas Kovacs also gives Holm a tour of the community’s sustainable farm, which includes extensive gardens, orchards and livestock that help provide food for residents. Camphill Village offers a powerful example of inclusion, shared purpose and community living.

Prairie Yard & Garden rebroadcasts Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Mondays at 1 p.m. following the initial air date on Pioneer PBS.
