Pollinators amidst solar panels on Prairie Yard & Garden March 21

GRANITE FALLS, Minn — The upcoming episode of Prairie Yard & Garden (PY&G) will feature how Connexus Energy produces bees, flowers and native plants along with solar energy on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. on Pioneer Public Television. The episode will be repeated on Saturday, March 23 at 4 p.m. and Monday, March 25 at 1 p.m. and will be available for online viewing at www.pioneer.org/pyg immediately after broadcast.

Host Mary Holm travels to Ramsey to learn how Minnesota’s largest electric cooperative has filled the landscaping below its solar panels with wildflowers and other plants that promote a healthy home for pollinators and a place for beehives used to produce Connexus Energy’s special “solar honey.”
