GRANITE FALLS, Minn. —The next Compass public affairs program features a discussion of agricultural issues with Minnesota Department of Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen and State Representative Paul Anderson (R-Starbuck) on Thursday, August 15 at 9 p.m. on Pioneer PBS. The program will be rebroadcast on Sunday, August 18 at 12:30 p.m. and will be viewable online at www.pioneer.org/compass after the original airing.

Pioneer PBS President and General Manager Les Heen moderates this wide ranging dialogue about the many issues facing agriculture including trade disputes, bad weather and low prices with Petersen, a horse farmer from Pine County who was appointed by Governor Tim Walz in January 2019. Anderson is a farmer who has served in the Minnesota House since 2009.
