GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Tips and tricks for growing roses will be featured in the upcoming episode of Prairie Yard & Garden on Pioneer PBS to be broadcast on Thursday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m.“Yes, You Can Grow Roses” will be rebroadcast on Saturday, April 17 at 4 p.m. and Monday, April 19 at 1 p.m. and will be available for online viewing at www.pioneer.org/pyg immediately after broadcast.
PY&G Host Mary Holm travels to Fertile, Minnesota and visits with Joe Bergeson, a rose lover who shares his secrets for how to grow these beautiful flowers. Bergeson is the owner of Bergeson Nursery and carries on the tradition started by his grandparents, Melvin and Olga Bergeson, who founded the business near Fertile nearly 80 years ago.
