GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — The upcoming Prairie Yard & Garden episode to be released on Thursday, March 17 on Pioneer PBS features Steve Poppe from the West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris, Minnesota. Poppe shares the history and development of the WCROC’s horticultural gardens as they prepare to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Horticulture Night.

PY&G Host Mary Holm interviews Poppe to learn about the rich heritage of research, education and beauty of the public gardens which are open every day from dawn until dusk during the growing season.

A Growing Heritage for 50 Years will be released at noon on March 17 at 12 noon and will be available for online viewing at www.pioneer.org/pyg and on YouTube
