GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, May 21, 2026 — The second season of Hisserie continues its exploration of the paranormal and macabre across Minnesota and the greater Midwest Saturday, May 30 at 8 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.

Hiseerie continues with the second part of a two-part investigation as co-hosts Mickey Reed and Ryan Meyer complete their 48-hour lock-in at Malvern Manor in Iowa. In this episode, the pair takes the investigation upstairs while also reflecting on their experiences during and after their visit to Villisca.

The hosts are also already looking ahead to future seasons and new investigations across the region.

“And then next season we’re still picking out stories, but it’s probably going to be aliens and then more local, like in Willmar and Montevideo,” said Mickey Reed, producer/videographer/host.

“We have like lots of little hot spots that are on the list, but there’s so much that it’s hard to get to them all,” Reed said. “...it’s great to hear all of them, but then it’s like, oh, I got to get to all of these because they’re so cool.”

Reed said one of the most rewarding parts of producing Hiseerie has been meeting people willing to share their paranormal experiences and personal stories. Many of the show’s investigations begin with individuals reaching out about unusual events connected to homes, friends or locations from their past.

Reed said those connections often lead to new investigations and opportunities to highlight lesser-known locations.

Hiseerie rebroadcasts Mondays at noon following the initial broadcast on Pioneer PBS.
