GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, April 30, 2026 — The second season of Hisserie continues its exploration of the paranormal and macabre across Minnesota and the greater Midwest Saturday, May 9 at 8 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.
The season continues with a paranormal investigation into the reportedly haunted Farrar Elementary School in central Iowa. Co-hosts Mickey Reed and Ryan Meyer explore its history and inhabitants firsthand. In 2024 Farrar Elementary School was purchased by popular YouTubers Sam and Colby to preserve the building and explore its history.
This season also travels beyond Minnesota, with investigations at notable paranormal locations in Iowa. Among them is a particularly intense 48-hour lockdown at Malvern Manor, where the team is pushed to its limits in an experience described as both thrilling and unsettling.
“It’s all throughout history, all throughout the world. There’s a lot of paranormal and supernatural…who’s to say what’s real and what’s not,” said Mickey Reed, producer/videographer/host. “But if this many people from all around have similar experiences, there has to be at least something there, right?”
Hiseerie rebroadcasts Mondays at noon following each show’s initial broadcast on Pioneer PBS.
