Grassland Jam to feature the Barley Jacks on Saturday, April 11

GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — The Barley Jacks will be the featured act on an upcoming broadcast of Grassland Jam — the bluegrass and Americana music program produced by Pioneer PBS. The program will air on Saturday, April 11 at 7 p.m. CST and will be available for online viewing at 7:30 that night at www.pioneer.org/grasslandjam. The broadcast will be repeated on Monday, April 13 at noon.

The Barley Jacks are masters of their instruments and music. Full of energy and excitement this noteable bluegrass band has been praised by reviewers and audiences. Band members include Brain Wicklund on fiddle, Mike Cramer on guitar, Joel Arpin on percussion and Keith Yanes on bass.

Grassland Jam is produced and edited by Matthew Johnson. The program is made possible by contributions from the voters of Minnesota through a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
