Spring ephemerals on the next episode of Prairie Yard & Garden

GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Pioneer PBS’s Prairie Yard & Garden will explain what a spring ephemeral is on its upcoming episode. “What is a Spring Ephemeral?” will air on Thursday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. on Pioneer PBS.

When the winter blues are peaking in late March, these spring blooms offer us the hope and beauty of a new season. Spring ephemerals are the first plants to emerge and flower in the Spring! Steve Kelley from Kelley and Kelley Nursery of Long Lake shares his knowledge of these early flowers that soothe our winter-weary souls.
