GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — How the community of Willmar is preparing for the census will be the topic of PBS Pioneer’s next Compass public affairs program on Thursday, May 23 at 9 p.m. The program will be rebroadcast on Sunday, May 26 at 12:30 p.m. and viewable online at www.pioneer.org/compass after the original airing.

The city of Willmar has established a committee that has already started working to make sure everyone will be counted in the upcoming census. Guests include Willmar City Clerk Judy Thompson and Pablo Obregon of the Southwest Initiative Foundation. PBS Pioneer’s president and general manager Les Heen is the host of the program.
