GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — PBS Pioneer’s Grassland Jam will feature Dreamcatcher on Saturday, June 15 at 7 p.m. The program will be available for online viewing immediately after the broadcast on www.pioneer.org/grasslandjam. The broadcast will be repeated on Monday, May 17 at noon.
Dreamcatcher is a Johnson City, Tennessee-based bluegrass band with a strong youthful presence made up of students from East Tennessee State University. The band was formed in early summer of 2015 by Troy Boone and Aaron Foster. Dreamcatcher performs both traditional and contemporary bluegrass and bluegrass gospel and plays many festivals across the eastern United States.
The performance was recorded at the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old Time Music Association Festival held in Richmond in August 2018.
Grassland Jam is produced and edited by Matthew Johnson. The program is made possible by contributions from the voters of Minnesota through a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
