GRANITE FALLS, Minnesota, November 1, 2025 — Pioneer PBS is excited to participate in the 17th annual Give to the Max Day. The early giving period kicks off on Nov. 1 and ends on Nov. 20 on Give to the Max Day 2025.
Give to the Max Day, organized by GiveMN, is Minnesota’s 24-hour celebration of generosity. Your tax-deductible gift to Pioneer PBS helps us share local stories, honor our heritage, and bring the spirit of greater Minnesota to the world.
Since 1966, Pioneer PBS has proudly shared the voices of rural Minnesota through our Emmy-winning local productions. Your support helps us highlight rural artists, tribal members, farmers, teachers, business owners, and veterans—and provide educational resources and content for children and families across our region.
"Due to the recent federal funding cuts that took a full third of Pioneer PBS' funding for this fiscal year, we need your support now more than ever to continue to share regional voices. As the only broadcaster in this region, we are committed to bringing the world to you, and lifting your voices to the world. We need your support to do that," President and General Manager Shari Lamke said.
To participate in Give to the Max Day 2025, simply visit givemn.org/organization/PioneerPBS and leave your donation or donate directly to pioneer.org.
Every donation made to Pioneer PBS through GiveMN.org—before or on Give to the Max Day—enters us for a chance to win additional grants from GiveMN, multiplying the impact of your gift. From Nov. 1–20, GiveMN will award:
- $500 Early Giving Golden Tickets daily (November 1-19)
- $500 Golden Ticket prizes every 15 minutes (November 20)
- $1,000 Hourly Golden Ticket prizes hourly (November 20)
- $10,000 Super-Sized Golden Ticket, drawn from all gifts made November 1-20. Additional regional prizes will be awarded, thanks to Minnesota’s Initiative Foundations.
Support Pioneer PBS during this year’s Give to the Max Day anytime between Friday, Nov. 1 to Thursday, Nov. 20. As public television faces growing funding challenges, your support keeps local voices strong, brings Emmy-Award-winning stories to life, and ensures PBS Kids programming and educational resources remain free for every child in our community. Together, we keep your station — your voice, your story — alive.
