Pioneer PBS has been awarded four Upper Midwest Emmy Awards
Pioneer PBS took home four Upper Midwest Emmys last Saturday, October 18, during an awards ceremony in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Postcards, produced by Dana Conroy, with videography and editing by Ben Dempcy and Kristofor Gieske, won three awards for "The Heart of Art" featuring painter Janel Guertin, "Anything but Brushes" featuring Zak M. Jahn, and "Driven to Excellence" featuring Chris Runge, founder of RUNGE CARS. Our Pioneer PBS Specials program also won an award for "Held in Minnesota: Untold WWII POW Stories," produced by Susan Marks.
