GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — In collaboration with the Minnesota-based company Epilogg, Pioneer PBS will now offer regional obituaries featured on its website, viewable at www.pioneer.org/schedule. Visitors to the Pioneer PBS schedule page will be able to search and scroll through tributes that families of local people have made to honor their loved one’s life. Anyone who wishes to will be able to create their own Epilogg complete with pictures, stories and information free of charge. Some of the tributes may even be featured on Pioneer PBS’s Compass and Postcards shows.
“Pioneer PBS has always been about telling local stories and lifting them up to the world at large,” said Pioneer PBS President and General Manager Sherece Lamke. “Through Epilogg we can provide a regional platform with user generated content that honors the lives of the residents of the small towns and farming communities we serve,” she added.
