GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Betty Ann Addison of Fridley has dedicated a lifetime to creating a breathtaking yard that will be featured on an upcoming episode of Prairie Yard & Garden on Pioneer PBS to be broadcast on Thursday, February 18 at 7:30 p.m. “Rice Creek Gardens” will be repeated on Saturday, February 20 at 4 p.m. and Monday, February 22 at 1 p.m. and will be available for online viewing at www.pioneer.org/pyg immediately after broadcast.
For half a century, the Gardens of Rice Creek have been a mecca for gardeners from far and wide who are on the hunt for rare, hardy plants. Addison is a nationally known landscape designer, author, lecturer and photographer who will take PY&G Host Mary Holm on tour to see her vast array of hardy rhododendrons, right in the middle of a bustling suburb.
PY&G is produced by Pioneer PBS. Production sponsorship is provided by ACIRA, Heartland Motors, Shalom Hill Farm and the Friends of PY&G.
