GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Pioneer PBS will host three debates on Thursday, October 8 featuring District 8 House and Senate candidates. Starting at 7 p.m. the first debate for the open Minnesota House District 8A seat will be two first time candidates: Jordan Rasmusson (R) of Fergus Falls and Brittney Johnson (DFL) of Underwood. At 8 p.m., Minnesota House District 8B Representative Mary Franson (R) of Alexandria will debate challenger Carol Wenner (DFL) of Alexandria. At 9 p.m Minnesota Senate District 8 incumbent Bill Ingebrigtsen (R) of Alexandria and challenger Michele Anderson (DFL) of Fergus Falls will respond to viewer’s questions. These debates will be broadcast live from Pioneer PBS’s studio in Granite Falls.

Viewers will be able to livestream the debate at video.pioneer.org/livestream. The debate will also be carried over the Pioneer PBS broadcast network, over Dish Network and DirecTV and through YouTube TV.
