GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — The upcoming Prairie Yard & Garden episode features Leif Erikson Park & Rose Gardens in Duluth. The program will be released at noon on April 21 and will be available for online viewing at www.pioneer.org/pyg and on YouTube

One of the most beautiful spots in Duluth is Leif Erikson Park with 2,500 stunning roses and other plants grown along the shore of Lake Superior. PY&G Host Mary Holm visits with the gardeners who maintain the site which also features a fountain, a marble gazebo, an herb garden and plenty of benches overlooking the lake.

Mike Cihak is the executive producer of PY&G -- the show that inspires well-being through the growing and enjoyment of plants.

PY&G is produced by Pioneer PBS. Production sponsorship is provided by ACIRA, Heartland Motors, Shalom Hill Farm and the Friends of PY&G.
