In our first segment, “.410 for Pheasant,” host Bret Amundson is joined by his friend Jason Markkula, his son, and his son’s friend and their bird dogs on a pheasant hunt with sub-gauge shotguns. Sub-gauge shotguns are known for lighter recoil and easier handling, while also being smaller than a typically used 12-gauge shotgun. Bret hunts with a .410 sub-gauge shotgun for this episode.
In our next segment, “Building More Birds,” host Bret Amundson brings his camera to a food plot built for pheasants and shares a window into the wonderful world of the many wildlife inhabitants that benefit from it. Tune in to see pheasants by the dozens going about their daily lives.
