GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — The public is invited to participate in a special Prairie Yard & Garden screening and discussion event on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 3 p.m. CST in Herman. The free event will include a preview of the new PY&G story about Herman native Rita Kaiser, her fairyland gardens and the young gardeners she inspires. The event will be held at the Herman Community Center at 416 Atlantic Ave. S. in Herman. Participants can also receive a Zoom link to view the event online by registering at pioneer.org/rita.
PY&G Host Mary Holm, Producer Mike Cihak, Rita Kaiser and the youthful stars of the episode will be in attendance at the event which will be held in advance of the broadcast of the "Inspired by Rita"PY&G episode that will air on Thursday April 7 at 7:30 p.m. on the Pioneer PBS broadcast network which serves parts of five states and millions of households.
