Headlining the premiere of season 4 of Grassland Jam on Saturday, January 13 at 7 p.m. is Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen APPLETON, Minn. — Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen will be the featured act of the premiere broadcast of Season 4 of Grassland Jam, the bluegrass and Americana music program on Pioneer Public Television. The program will air on Saturday, January 13 at 7 p.m. CST and will be available for online viewing at 10 p.m. that night at www.pioneer.org/grasslandjam. The broadcast will be repeated on Monday, January 15 at noon. The performances were recorded at the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old Time Music Association Festival held in Richmond, Minnesota in August of 2017. Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen play a wide variety of new acoustic American roots music focusing on bluegrass and acoustic country. Band members include Frank Solivan on mandolin, fiddle, guitar and vocals; Mike Munford on banjo; Chris Luquette on guitar; and Jeremy Middleton on bass. Twice, in 2014 and 2016, the group was recognized as the Instrumental Group of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association.
