The next two Compass programs will be devoted to sharing the highlights of an interview with the 35th Governor of Minnesota, Al Quie, conducted by Your Legislators host Barry Anderson. In this first segment, Quie recounts his early years as a Minnesota State Senator and member of Congress leading up to his run for Governor in 1978.
For the Compass Literature Corner, producer Laura Kay Prosser interviews Marty Seifert of Marshall, Minnesota about his new book "Sundown at Sunrise" -- historical fiction based on a true story of a gruesome ax murder that occurred on a farm near the southwestern Minnesota town of Clements one hundred years ago.
