Clifford is a famous storybook character first created by Norman Bridwell in 1963. Birdwell’s books are the basis of a popular PBS kids television series. Clifford is friendly, shy, lovable, loyal, gentle and helpful but sometimes gets into trouble because of his size, or is tempted into trouble by his friends and those he meets.
