March 31 at 7:30 p.m. - Fall Decorating
Looking ahead to the fall when Jack Frost has come to visit and some of our garden and container plants will be looking pretty sad, Prairie Yard and Garden host Mary Holm interviews Master Gardener Randee Hokanson of Morris as she rearranges her plants, uses dried flowers, seed pods, and vines to extend the outdoor season. In addition, Randee shares her special tips for fall decorating.
April 7 at 7:30 p.m. - Those Pesky Weeds
Join Host Mary Holm and Dan Miller at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to discuss the Arboretum’s educational exhibit about weeds and learn how to prevent and control “Those Pesky Weeds.”
April 14 at 7:30 p.m. - Sun and Shade Plants
Prairie Yard and Garden host Mary Holm visits with homeowners Steve Kelley and Arla Carmichiel of Long Lake Minnesota to help homeowners who have who have both deep shade and very sunny conditions in their yard.
April 21 at 7:30 p.m. - Nature Inspires Della
Prairie Yard and Garden host Mary Holm visits artist Della Conroy at her studio in Hancock, Minnesota to learn about how she is inspired and influenced by the vegetables and flowers in her garden plus nature scenes in the surrounding area.
