In the episode, host Mary Holm learns that Jody Olson loves to garden and try new things. Both Jody and her late husband were Master Gardeners in Canby, Minnesota. Their many years of working together is evident when seeing all the unusual plants and plantings in their yard. Additionally, Jody has carried her love of plants into the future with the Creekside Memorial Garden which is designed for the entire community to enjoy.
Celebrating its 30th season, PYG is a trusted and popular program dedicated to the delivery of science-based horticulture information and practices. Over the course of every season, PYG visits with researchers, extension educators, private businesses, industry reps and exceptional gardeners to keep viewers current with the latest information and trends. In the past few years, there have been more than 265,000 video views of PYG episodes online.
