Each episode of the program is made available for viewing online at www.pioneer.org/your-legislators. Short video segments covering the issues that are covered in each program can also be viewed online.
Pioneer Public Television began broadcasting Your Legislators 37 years ago in 1981. In past years, viewers from more than 500 communities throughout Minnesota have called or emailed questions to the program.
“It is the only statewide, live call-in program where citizens can have their questions answered directly,” said Your Legislators Producer, Jon Panzer. “We expect there will be heightened interest in this session with rural Minnesota representatives in control of both the House and Senate as they decide how to address the spike in health care insurance premiums and whether or not to allocate a billion of dollars of public spending,” he added.
