10-1/20-1 Pioneer DT is a repeat of our analog program schedule featuring a mix of national and local public television programming.
10-2/20-2 Pioneer Create™ features high-profile series and specials ranging from Rick Steves’ Europe, Martin Yan Quick & Easy and America’s Test Kitchen to This Old House, Barbecue University and Scrapbook Memories and much more.
Each month, Pioneer Create™ has an average of 22 to 30 different series airing. The schedule is broken down into six-hour blocks which in turn are typically composed of two hours for cooking, one hour for travel, 30 minutes for home improvement, 30 minutes for gardening, 30 minutes for painting and 90 minutes for crafts (quilting, sewing, scrap booking, glass working or home décor). In the near future Pioneer will also be inserting its local gardening program, Prairie Yard and Garden, as well as other appropriate local production into the schedule.
This channel also includes an extensive web site, www.createtv.com to add value and information as a companion to the channel.
10-3/20-3 Pioneer MN (Minnesota Channel) is currently a 24/7 channel containing programming from the CPB/Annenberg channel made up of life long learning programming. The full Pioneer Minnesota channel will launch sometime in January as a effort and partnership with all PBS stations in Minnesota to launch this 24/7/365 channel. The Minnesota Channel will feature a variety of programming that is from or about Minnesota and its close neighbors. Many of the programs are produced by partnership with Minnesota's finest nonprofit and public service organizations. In February, the Minnesota Channel will also include gavel to gavel coverage of the Minnesota State Legislature. The Minnesota Channel will deliver the best in local and regional public television, every day, all day long.
10-4/20-4 Pioneer HD channel features a mix of new and library HD and Widescreen programs24/7/365. New HD and Widescreen programs will simulcast with their analog national PBS premiere broadcast, and will repeat on the PBS HD Channel during the week following their premiere. The Pioneer HD channel premiers the highest quality in television programming
These new channels from Pioneer Public Television can be seen using a DTV tuner over the air for free. These tuners are in most new television sets or set top boxes are available to convert your analog television.
