Pioneer Public Television has hired Patrick Moore
to serve as the new Communications Coordinator. Moore lives in Montevideo, Minnesota and is returning to PPTV where he worked back in 1983-84. Most recently Moore was the Executive Director of Clean Up the River Environment (CURE) and the founder of the Java River Café on Main Street Montevideo. Moore began his journalism career as the editor of the Milan Standard Watson Journal in the early 1980s. He has a BA degree in History and Latin American Studies from the University of Minnesota, Morris.
“We’re excited to have Patrick on board,” said General Manager Les Heen. “He brings a broad knowledge of the region and a unique set of promotional and communication skills to our operation.”
Moore will focus on building community relations throughout the broadcast area and promoting the local programs produced by Pioneer. View the Press Release
